Most sessions take place in my private Atelier in Rialto, Dublin 12. The Atelier provides a controlled environment where I can carefully shape the lighting, styling and creative direction around each portrait commission.

The studio is designed to provide a private and relaxed setting, allowing us to focus entirely on creating your portraits without the distractions of a conventional commercial studio.

Outdoor and alternative-location sessions can also be discussed where they suit the creative concept. Additional location or studio hire fees may apply where applicable.

Professional hair and makeup can be arranged for your portrait session, depending on the collection and creative requirements.

Where hair and makeup are included or requested, I work with professional artists who understand the requirements of portrait photography and studio lighting.

If you would like professional hair and makeup arranged, please mention this during your consultation so that it can be coordinated in advance.

Additional charges may apply depending on the services required.

I recommend booking your portrait session one to two months in advance, particularly if you require a weekend appointment or have a specific date in mind.

Your session date is secured once the required non-refundable retainer has been paid.

If you are commissioning a fine art portrait or planning a particularly detailed concept, additional preparation may be required, so booking earlier is recommended.

Availability is subject to the current Atelier schedule.

Following your portrait session, we arrange an image selection and artwork consultation.

We review your photographs together and identify the portraits that best represent you and the creative direction of the commission.

I will guide you through the selection process and explain how different images can work as individual prints, framed artwork, albums, story boxes or larger statement pieces.

This is also where we can discuss the size, format and presentation of your chosen artwork so that the finished pieces are appropriate for your home or intended display space.

What you receive depends on the collection and artwork you select.

Depending on your chosen experience, options can include professionally retouched digital photographs, fine art prints, framed artwork, albums, story boxes and statement wall art.

My approach is centred around creating finished portraits that can be enjoyed as physical artwork rather than simply remaining as digital files.

Fine art portrait commissions can be more bespoke, particularly where the concept involves extensive creative direction, specialist styling, compositing or larger finished artwork.

Portrait sessions can be paid for by card, with bank transfer or invoice payment available where appropriate.

Payment arrangements for artwork depend on the product and order.

For larger commissioned pieces, payment arrangements can be discussed during the consultation.

The session retainer is non-refundable and secures the date reserved for your portrait session.

If you need to change your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability and the applicable rescheduling terms.

Where a rescheduling fee applies, this will be communicated before the new appointment is confirmed.

Images may be considered for use on my website, portfolio, social media or other promotional material only where you have given permission for them to be used.
